Happy New Year

Here's wishing you all a wonderfully New Year!
May it be full of crafty times!

One of my Christmas cards I made.  Still have lots of ideas for this coming year so will continue making Christmas through out the year.

The New Year's resolution is to use up the many accumulated Christmas papers!

Guarding our prey!!!

Another Month

The months are flying passed!

Winter is here and colder than the last couple of years!

Not much craft has been happening with trying to get a piece sewn for the Art Exhibition in September, but have managed to finish this quilt as a donation to the Boulder Rotary Radio Auction fund raiser in August

Thanks to Nancy for getting it quilted so quickly for me.

So Long.....

Time has flown again!

Not much is happening here, been to the Craft Fair in Perth and the annual shopping trip but not much else has happened!  Life has got in the way of being creative!

Sympathy card I have made.  Thanks to Christine for her lovely idea.

With DH having been away I have managed to get into the sewing room.  After a tidy up I had a play!

Having recently got Rayna Gillman's new book, Create your own free-form quilts I had fun playing with all the scraps left over from our entry into the Kalgoorlie Art Prize

Here is the result

Need to add a border and then quilt it.  Just love Rayna's idea of sewing strips and blocks when you want to sew but have nothing in mind.  Then come back to them later.

Created using the Cheery Lynn doilies die and the Spellbinders flower topper die.
The flower topper dies are one of my favourite dies!

Quick Cards

Just a quick post to share with you the cards Georgina and I made the other night.

With the lovely ideas from Marg at Country Papercraft we chose our own papers and followed her design as we can not get there for card classes - tad to far!

Georgina's top row
Annie bottom row

Hope to get more cards done this year using all the new goodies purchased last year!
