Sewing
With DH having been away I have managed to get into the sewing room. After a tidy up I had a play!
Having recently got Rayna Gillman's new book, Create your own free-form quilts I had fun playing with all the scraps left over from our entry into the Kalgoorlie Art Prize
Here is the result
Need to add a border and then quilt it. Just love Rayna's idea of sewing strips and blocks when you want to sew but have nothing in mind. Then come back to them later.

Quick Cards
Just a quick post to share with you the cards Georgina and I made the other night.
With the lovely ideas from Marg at Country Papercraft we chose our own papers and followed her design as we can not get there for card classes - tad to far!

The last few months
My world has had a few shake ups since my last post in June and I have not been doing much craft at all.
I collapsed and had to visit the hospital, the doctors, the vampires, and then the cardologist in Perth. In the middle of this Dad passed away. He will be greatly missed for his wicked sense of humour. Rest in peace Dad.
Life is getting back to normal now thank goodness. Taking it easy and learning my limitations.
Have a great Christmas everyone
